The location is excellent. We parked our cars and walked everywhere. From the restaurants to the wineries to the Mississippi. The home is beautiful decorated and a lot of thought is put into what a renter might want. From every imaginable spice and coffee/tea choices to plenty of towels and instructions labeled on items. We will stay again.

This property is a fabulous blend of old and new! The thoughtful renovations and amenities throughout were outstanding. The kitchen is a dream come true with everything one could want, and we did cook everyday with 3 women in the kitchen. The hosts did not skimp on anything. We enjoyed the beautiful decor throughout, the comfortable beds, the wonderful bathrooms with soft fluffy towels, and enough paper products without running out. We appreciated the foil and zip lock bags in the kitchen since we were cooking. Our favorite room was the porch where we spent many hours playing cards and games. The view was great and we enjoyed the trains that came through. You couldn't hear them much at all with the windows closed, and it was just a fun to watch them. Mary and Jeff are wonderful hosts! Communication was fantastic from the very first second. If you want to stay in a small walkable town I highly recommend Peace on Pepin. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us!

We loved Peace on Pepin! It's located right across from the marina on Lake Pepin. The home is beautifully decorated with many paintings by local artists. The porch has windows that open all around with nice views of the river and marina. The second-floor deck has even better views. We went on many walks with our dog in this charming town. We loved being so close to the restaurants and the winery. There were many little touches that made it special: a toiletry basket with some essentials; a goody basket in the kitchen with snacks, nuts and treats; an umbrella stand on the porch; a basket of dog supplies with a treat; and a small cherry pie from Stockholm Pie for us! The kitchen is well-supplied for coffee and tea drinkers. Our bed was very comfortable. Mary is very attentive and kept in contact with us throughout our visit in case we had questions. We would definitely love to come back!

Mary was an amazing host and this property was above par on everything!! There is nothing that she hasn’t thought of to provide!!! Would definitely stay again!

Our group of 6 women who have been friends for over 45 years enjoyed our weekend at Peace of Pepin. The house was just as described. It had lovely updated furnishings and the coffee area was great. Even though the weather had turned cold we enjoyed the front porch. And the beds were super comfortable. Thanks, Mary, for sharing your space.
