Definitely a good guesthouse. Stayed for 7 nights. We are staying at the 3rd floor and there is no lift so we need to carry our bags upstairs. Other than that everything is perfect near with bus stop, atm, subway station and convenience stores.

Bona is one of the best Host I’ve had here in Airbnb, she’s very accommodating and reply quickly. We asked her to help us order jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk because we wanter to try it and she helped us order it 🤍 the location is great as well 2 minutes walk to the nearest bus station and 5 minutes walk to the nearest train station. Very accessible as well and near attractions and night market. The place is big enough for 2 pax, I think even for 4 pax can stay here. The only thing I would wish is I hope there is a fan in the room, turns out during cold weather only the boiler is open and aircon cannot be opened as it will break the boiler. The rooms sometimes become really dry and stuffy so we have to open the window, also, there are people who is not use to sleeping without circulating air even if it’s cold, like me, so I had a hard time sleeping on my first 2 nights. But overall it was a great stay! And I will definitely book this place again when I travel back to Korea next year 😊🤍

The host, Bona, was extremely responsive, both before and after the booking was made. Location is good and walkable, although it was a little tough to find on the first day. The place was clean and well furnished.

The place is old and needs maintenance and cleaning. It’s no longer how it looks in the photos. The bathroom wash basin is leaking behind it, all the water goes out. There’s a foul and cleaning chemical smell coming out from the bathroom. And the sheets smell like Clorox! When we arrived, the toilet bowl was already yellowish, I had to scrub it as I couldn’t stand using it so dirty. I reported to the host and she offered to clean it - this is a good thing, but why not clean it in the first place? I was wondering why the reviews are 5 stars, it turns out they offer a free one-night stay if you give them good reviews. We were very uncomfortable staying there. The chemical smell stayed up until we left. There’s not much to do in the area aside from Gyeongbukgong Palace. It’s noisy in the morning as there’s a sauna in the basement. There’s no lift so I also sprain my hand carrying my luggage up and down. I hope the hosts will do a better job in improving the place.

I stayed almost a month and loved the fact that the flat was very well located and super quiet. This area has many shops, restaurants, lovely cafés and art galleries. From there you can even go hiking directly by foot, really cool thing! On top of that Bona (the host) was extremely reactive to all my questions. FYI: - Be aware that the shower is above the toilet, not separated. I guess it's weird for europeans, but I got used and the water pressure was good. - The curtains were not dense enough for me, I needed a sleeping mask. - It's not specified but the sauna in the basement is ONLY for women. Open until 6pm.
