Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This perfect place is close to Selfoss brand new downtown. You can reach many of Icelands most famous waterfalls and sceneries from here, like Reykjadalur (16km), Seljarlandsfoss (70km), Skógarfoss (98km), Black sand beach (130km), Glacier lagoon (322km). This apartment is a top floor in a two story house. So you walk in and down stairs you find your coat hangers. You then walk up the wooden stairs that lead you up to the apartment. The wood walls and rafters in the ceiling make the space really warm and cosy. The living room is open and bright. Perfect to lounge around and contemplate your next adventure. We have slightly redecorated it to a more clean look. If you like watching a movie, have fun with our projector that is equipped with chromecast and a quality soundbar. On the “balcony” - it used to be open but it is now closed - there is a big desk with good natural lighting; a good working space equipped with a lamp, a comfortable vintage armchair and a soothing view. The master bedroom is modern and cosy with brand new hand-made furniture. The floating bed and bedstands are a charm! There are also very convenient sockets by both sides of the bed and ajustable reading lights too. And once you're in bed, don't mind getting up to turn off the lights: there're light switches by the bed. *wink The guest room has 2 beds, also brand new and hand-made, that are nice and comfortable. There you have a small desk for more focused work. In the kitchen you have everything you need to make your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Afterall, when we are not hosting you, we live here! The bathroom has been completely remodelled and the shower is really nice. Strong hot water, naturally heated by geothermal activity. Thank God for the volcanoes!
