The Cottage is quite the retreat - it is situated in the countryside of Florence with beautiful views and surrounded by nature. The house has been curated to be rustic and comfortable for those seeking to slow down and enjoy life. Giacomo allowed us to check in early after 3 planes from the US. He met us at the gate and helped guide us up the narrow and steep driveway to the cottage entrance. The house and grounds up top is flat and all on one level which was easy. He also helped us with our many items of luggage. The road to the cottage is quite narrow but is definitely 2 way, so you need to be okay with navigating such things. Also highly recommend a small but not too low of a car to make it easier to turn around and maneuver. The cottage has such interesting artwork and furniture. Giacomo makes everything easy and lives on the property so is super responsive and fun to talk with. Gorgeous sunsets and had 2 hot air balloons in our view on our last morning!

Giacomo hat uns sehr freudestrahlend - obwohl wir 2 Stunden zu früh angekommen sind - mit einem großzügigen Willkommensgeschenk begrüßt. Das Haus ist toll! Der Ausblick fantastisch! In der Küche gab es alles, was man braucht und alles funktionierte einwandfrei! Der Grill draußen auch! Die Saison war zu früh für den Pool, aber die Poollandschaft ist wunderschön und im Sommer ist der Aufenthalt dort sicherlich ein Traum. Kamin und Pelletofen funktionierten einwandfrei und die Wärme war sehr angenehm. Wir haben unsere Tage dort sehr genossen. In Florenz ist man in 25 Minuten mit dem Auto. Auf dem Weg nach Florenz liegt ein großer COOP-Supermarkt, der alles besitzt, was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben fürstlich gespeist. Rundum ein toller Ulraub in einer tollen Location mit einem sehr gastfreundlichen Vermieter, der immer erreichbar ist. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Je recommande ce lieu: un accueil bienveillant et attentionné. l'adresse se situe idéalement dans la campagne toscane mais à proximité de la ville. La vue est magnifique, l'endroit paisible au milieu des oliviers, l'intérieur est soigné avec beaucoup de goût. Merci!

great place to be! Nice and friendly host and outstanding nature. A bit challenging to drive to the cottage, but more than worth it. Go there we should see!

Insgesamt haben wir uns wohl gefühlt, Giacomo war sehr nett und hat auch bei Internet-Problemen sofort geholfen. Die Unterkunft wirkt schon etwas älter und an manchen Ecken etwas improvisiert (leichter Stromschlag von der Mikrowelle beim Licht einschalten in der Küche). Das Haus war sauber. Das Wasser im Pool wirkte sauber aber das Becken braucht eine Reinigung. Das Haus steht nicht alleine, sondern neben mit dem Nachbarhaus von Giacomo(?). Dort haben wir nur einmal kurz jemanden gesehen.
