Unfortunately the great location was ruined by the situation in the apartment. Upon entering the premises there was a bad smell of damp. On inspection on the premises there was mould behind fixtures and on the walls. The bean bags on the floor were damp and had be moved away to keep out of reach of the children. This ruined the stay which was for a birthday getaway and we felt not at ease with our children staying in the property. It was a real disappointment especially as the location was great and close proximity to amenities and the beach. We ended up staying out for most of the stay and because of this but ultimately felt left ripped off after complaining and only recovering our “cleaning fee” back even though an acceptance was had about the premise due to us not complaining soon enough. Although advertised as privately owned all dealings were through a booking agent and the whole experience has left me questioning whether to trust lets like this is the future.

Flat is very modern and comfortable. Location is great - few minutes walk to the beach, and to the local shops. Beds were comfortable. And the flat was clean. However, there is black mould in the bathroom next to the bath, with a very strong associated smell. Whilst everything else about the flat is great, that one problem means we wouldn't stay there again, unless there was a guarantee that the problem had been resolved. We can still smell it on our clothes having returned home. Not pleasant.

Great little flat, can't fault the location. Two minutes walk to cafes, restaurants and the beach, but away from any noise. The flat upstairs were pretty stompy at 8am but that's not the host's fault. Nice and clean but smelled a little damp and could have done with a good airing. All the same, would recommend it, and the beds were very very comfy - the most important thing!
