I loved the gorgeous view from my large, private, hillside terrace - this is what I came to Boka Bay for! It's also a great location - perfect to explore the surrounding area. You can walk to Persat along the paved coastal path, which is absolutely beautiful on a sunny day, or catch the bus for a few euros to Kotor or Herceg Novi and everywhere in between. The guesthouse has amazing potential … just not quite there yet. My room was spacious with a clean bathroom (w/ piping hot water) and a mini fridge but I was the first person to stay in a while and the floor wasn't very clean. Otherwise, the room was basic but comfortable enough and also very quiet and peaceful. I didn't use the shared kitchen at all because it just wasn't that nice, and I preferred eating fresh food on my terrace. But there's also another huge, shaded terrace off the kitchen. Risan is a sweet village with everything I needed. After visiting several others - including Kotor - I was happy I chose to stay there!

Wir kamen erst sehr spät abends an, wir wurden dennoch eingesammelt und konnten das Appartment beziehen. Rumica ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht, das es einem an nichts mangelt. Das Haus ist sehr schön, viele Pflanzen und die Aussicht auf die Bucht ist sehr schön. Risan ist ein ruhiger kleiner Ort, man kann dort baden, wandern und auch Essen gehen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Tanksstelle im Ort. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Land, die Gegend und diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Großes Herz an Rumica und vielen lieben Dank

This is a modestly appointed place like many places in Montenegro it’s a little older, yet the views are stunning it’s quiet, safe and the WIFI is largely reliable with only the usual exceptions that are to do with the usual issues one can have and nothing to do with the set up at the location, I was working from here so it was fine for my needs. Kiri was always helpful I had a couple of hiccups during the stay and she did her best to immediately sort these out for me. The rooms are spacious, and there’s a shared kitchen and you can do laundry if staying for a longer period. It’s a short walk to the town, it has a hill to walk back up, good for the lungs! If you are into a more busy place or lots to do within walking distance this location in Risan is more low key yet really peaceful and beautiful the locals are genuinely friendly. Buses are plentiful to Kotor which is about 20 mins away. If you have a car pretty easy to get around.
