Absolutely loved our stay! Location was amazing ! Will definitely come back

The house is as pictured, spacious and in a beautiful location. However it was not very clean and there were bed bugs. When we arrived there was a smell of mould throughout the house so strong that it triggered one guests asthma. The floors were not cleaned and there was sand everywhere. The bbq was dirty regardless of the "bbq cleaning fee" threat if you left it dirty. But ultimately the worst part is that one room has bed bugs (has not had). The agency refused to do anything about the bed bugs so they are still there. A suggestion (without any investigation) that the bed bugs could be sand flies was incorrect as sand flies do not infest mattresses. Two guests left our christmas holiday early because they could no longer sleep in that room from the bites. We paid for accommodation that we could not use entirely and the agency never responded to me about a partial refund for not being able to inhabit one room. Unfortunately i would not stay here again or book with Experience JB.

Great location and outlook. Peaceful. 2nd lounge room and dining room make it good for bigger groups. Host was very responsive. Chromecast was good for rainy day films. A wonderful break.

This place had a nice view & powerful showers, but that’s where the positives end. There was no wi-fi, so we had to use our data for the entire 6 days. No A/C which meant on the hot nights we were sweating whilst eating dinner inside. A broken fan in the living room (which was our only cool air supply) couldn’t be turned on as it made a really loud noise & was wobbling too much. A super tiny kitchen which can only fit 1 person in it at a time. Lack of kitchen supplies meant we had to contact the agent to buy some more for the house. One PowerPoint in the kitchen, so when using multiple appliances, we had them plugged in in other areas of the house. Uneven steps down to the lake which could be quite hard for families with small kids. The tv didn’t tune properly for our first couple of nights & we could only access 3 channels. Only free to air is provided. A handyman had to come out to fix it. We feel like we overpaid for what was a very underwhelming home. A lot needs to be improved for the cost.
