Beautiful views from the balcony and pool. We loved watching the amazing sunrises and the moon coming up over the water. Easy walk to the restaurants at Dee Why.

We had a very disappointing experience. Yes the views are beautiful however that is the only good thing about it. We were not informed prior to arrival of the major renovations going on next door from 7am till 3:30pm. 8 hours of jack hammering each day while we were there. We notified the host on the first day and she said that she only just found out about it a few days before we arrived but still hadn’t informed us. Then the caretaker arrived unannounced, startling us as he had been told that no one would be there. He then proceeded to power wash the pool area, causing even more noise and disruption. We sent these videos to the host, and her reply was “that’s awful”. Total lack of professionalism. The property itself is in need of a lot of TLC, it’s not cleaned very well, bedrooms upstairs have a damp musty smell, dirty old carpets, outdoor lighting was temperamental. The pool area and outdoor furniture is in need of an update, they’re untidy looking and not well maintained.

You pay for the view which was stunning. The house needs a lot of work, not well cleaned, shabby, spa bath not working, lots of lights not working, pool very badly maintained with broken tiles around it, lots of edging tiles missing, pool itself in bad shape, BBQ filthy. Illegal handrail on stairs down to pool area, very easy for child to fall through. Pictures on website do not match how the house now looks. We were not told that next door were having major renovations, very noisy if you are there when the workmen are. It's very sad because this was once a lovely house, just seems neglected now. Certainly not worth the rental fee.
