House was big enough for our 10 person booking, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. Upon arrival, we noted several issues with the main bathroom which we reported. They were responsive and sent maintenance out the next day, although the toilet remained unfixed and was unusable for our booking as a result. Cleanliness was generally good, however the floors were dirty and looked like they hadn’t been mopped in a while. The mattresses were clean, however were very uncomfortable. Communication frequency was an issue, receiving automated text messages past midnight reminding me of the check-out process (stressing a prompt 10am departure or charges will be made) and deposit. This leads me on to my next point… A few days before the booking, I received a message instructing me to complete an online check-in process. I was surprised to see they required a copy of my ID and a substantial deposit hold, as well as agreeing to a long list of t&c’s. Not mentioned in the listing.

This property is not designed for a family gathering and it is NOT “luxury”or “deluxe” as stated in the descriptions. The wide angle photos are also very misleading. Furniture and fittings although modern are of poor quality. The kitchen was very poorly equipped for cooking for the numbers advertised as being accommodated. The property has lots of defects, some dangerous, which we have flagged up to the owners. Apart from that, the house was situated in a quiet area and had a nice secure garden space at the back. It was clean and warm with good wifi, big television, lots of cupboard space in the kitchen and a good stove and oven. The beds were comfortable and the neighbourhood was pleasant. Wouldn’t recommend for families.

This was a last minute booking due to our existing booking being cancelled. The owners were very helpful getting the house ready for us with very little notice.

The pictures provided on the ad are deceiving, making the living space seem bigger than it actually is. The furniture is also of poor quality, especially the mattresses which were all awful to sleep on and caused back ache. But the most annoying thing was being forced to sign a contract, pay a deposit and provide my ID to the company outside of the airbnb website. Nothing about these extra steps were mentioned in the ad before booking. Other than these things, it's a nice peaceful area. Parking is very convenient and the bedrooms are of a good size. The garden is also a nice space with seating. Disappointing stay overall I'm sorry to say.
