April/May 2024 - My two sisters and I stayed at the McKinley Cottage in Jefferson for 3 nights. We take a sister trip every year, and have stayed in several Airbnbs, all of which have been nice. However, this cottage ranks as one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. The house was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including a Keurig-style coffeemaker with K-cups and a 12 cup drip style coffeemaker with pre-filled coffee filters. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for us. We each had our own comfortable room and bed. The cottage was conveniently located to just about every place we wanted to go. At one point, we had a question about the TV. We texted Misty, and she was there in 10 minutes and took care of the issue. I can confidently recommend McKinley Cottage.

During our girlfriend getaway weekend, we stayed at McKinley Cottage in Jefferson, TX. It was quaint, charming, spacious and Misty was always responsive and helpful with our questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to not only stay here again but also highly recommend to anyone visiting Jefferson. We thought the cottage was adorable. 🩷💚🤍💗

Lovely cottage! We so enjoyed our stay. So cozy and spacious at the same time. Comfy beds and well supplied bathrooms. Minutes from the downtown shopping. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the well seated front porch. Although we endured a bad storm and had a power outage one morning, Misty was so kind as to bring us donuts and fresh coffee to tied us over. She was always quick to respond to any questions/needs we had.

My friends and I found this to be the perfect cottage for a girls weekend. Everything we wanted to do was within 1/2 mile from there. We thoroughly enjoyed the shopping opportunities and would definitely return for another visit.
