The dog-friendly old police station was comfortable, quiet and close enough to all the amenities that I needed. This location would be perfect for a family of 4 or 5 with a dog who are looking for a quiet, low-cost trip to the Margret River region. With a well set up kitchen, it is perfect for those who want to be able to prepare their own meals while on holiday. This location would also be great if the Cape to Cape mountain biking course is going through Colonial Brewing Co., as it is perfectly located near the course.

Beautiful property, peaceful and awesome farm surroundings. Property had a lot of character and was really neat to stay in a place of history. Anitra was a very proactive and communicative host, thank you so much for letting us stay :) Highly recommend to those wanting a unique and peaceful experience !

Great, peaceful location. Stunning starry sky at night and not too far from amenities. Lovely space for children and dog to run and play, would stay again

Really don’t like writing a bad review however the place needs a bit of TLC. I tried to sleep in the cells to start but the spring mattress was so uncomfortable and the steel bed frame was so noisy so I moved to the daybed however the bed sheets on the day bed was filthy, two patches/blobs of I don’t know what on it. Couldn’t get the aircon to work so had to open the windows and they were covered in dead bugs and there was something under the bunk bed, I was worried the dogs would eat it. The yard is all bush land, the dogs kept escaping from the yard through the gap in the gate so it’s not fully enclosed as dogs can get through. It is very relaxing with the sounds of the birds and nature however it was a rather stressful stay as it felt dirty and stressed about the dogs. The table in the toilet is rusted and you don’t have space to put your toiletries down as the table is small rusted steel. A good clean and some Kmart/ikea items would make it more liveable
