Please keep in mind this property is in the country (aka the WOODS) despite being a residential house - no matter how many times we kill hornets - spring and early summer is the season for them to nest so you will see some hornets around as you are in the woods of New Hampshire (we do pest/rodent control but mother nature wins most times! ) You may see lady bugs or few ants ! Please do your best to keep windows/doors closed. Can comfortably sleep 4 adults with 2 queen size beds & 1 futon couch in the living room for the 5th guest (linens will be provided when requested during booking). Extra 1 guest can be allowed with prior agreement and require extra charge. It automatically gets applied when you add 5 guests. Please book other Airbnbs if you expect more than 5. Violation of any our house rules will result in immediate eviction and $500 fine right away. Fire pit is available, Bring your own wood. This space is designed with your comfort in mind. We are located in the north country so in winter please bring your warm clothes, winter socks or house slippers and don't forget your toothbrush! In summer be sure to bring your bug spray, sunblock, and hiking boots! This is the North Country and 4 wheel drive with Winter Tires is highly recommended with the weather. Jefferson is a small town with spaced out properties. It may take awhile for help to arrive if you get stuck so best to be prepared. Due to COVID-19, our cleaners are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations (doorknobs, surfaces, light switches, remote controls, tables, fan and lamp chains, thermostats etc). In addition, clean linens and bath towels are provided for all guests, unless guests prefer to bring their own. Note: No washer/Dryer on the property. Security Cameras for safety (outside only, front porch and back porch). We may require a refundable security deposit of $200 (but amount depends on stay and number of guests) for any damages and/or violation of house rules that lead to additional expenditures. The required security will be requested on Airbnb to maintain transparency for both the hosts and the guests. Hold gets released/voided after check out. It is to make sure there's no damage, no smoking on property, place is left in neat conditions and check out list is followed (lowering heaters, closing doors/windows, putting dishes away etc.).
