The apartment was superb! The only downside which was really annoying was the temperature in the apartment when we got there. 55 degrees is nowhere acceptable. Vacasa simply told us that is their policy. It took until the late evening until the temperature was okay as it was freezing outside. One ruined evening! If you want to save energy, let at least the cleaning staff turn on the heat when they arrive, so it is okay when guests arrive. When you book, make sure you demand Vacasa to provide a decent temperature.

There was nothing better than the experience of waking up, making my coffee and being able to sit in the cozy, fireplace-warmed living room and admire the surrounding beauty of this place. The house is very modern and well equipped for just about any stay. We would love to return here for future ski trips. This is just about the nicest AirBnB we’ve stayed in in a while, however there were some English communication challenges getting a few details like fireplace and hot water sorted out with the host service. Nevertheless a senior person seemed to apologize and rectify some of rhetoric communication issues eventually. There is some ambiguity whether we should text them or communicate via AirBnB’s message service as well. Both channels received responses but it didn’t seem they were in touch with each other. If you’re only staying for 3 days you should note that check in is at 4pm and check out is 10am with little flexibility of a late check out, so you really only get 1 full day.

A stunning bnb near Donner Lake. We really appreciated the responsiveness of the staff. We loved watching the snow fall while sitting by the cozy fireplace. We also walked to the nearby pub, ice creamery and beach, where our toddler enjoyed snow play. A perfect weekend getaway!

Our stay was lovely. We felt right at home as soon as we entered the house. It felt extremely cosy and welcoming. Beds and seating area are extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
