The front door opens to a pleasantly open layout boasting soaring exposed ceilings, a stone fireplace to cozy up beside, comfortable furnishings, and a fully equipped kitchen that will. make feeding the whole gang a breeze. Everyone will love gathering in the living room to watch a favorite show on the flatscreen TV or playing games at the dining table, yet you won't want to forget about the furnished wraparound deck either! Bring your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine out and breathe in the fresh air while you soak up the stunning views of the water. Come summer, the gas grill will come in handy to whip up some juicy burgers. Plus, the private dock will be the hub for fishing, launching a few kayaks, or swimming in crystal clear water. When it is time to settle in after a full day of adventure, two bedrooms await, one on each floor, and the loft can be just the place to read a book in peace. Beautiful cabin. Perfect for 8 adults. Lots of room. Comfortable beds.
House was beautiful, the view was unexceptional,
Super clean, nice amenities. Enjoyed using the paddle boards. The paddle boat works great for young kiddos 🙂 plenty of room and comfortable beds. Nice size open concept kitchen and dining for our family. Some awesome waterfalls near by for hiking. Definitely made some wonderful memories. Even used the karaoke system. Would highly recommend if you enjoy a super peaceful and relaxing lakeside vacation. Campfire and s'mores made for a very enjoyable evening also.
Great Cabin in the woods
We loved using this Airbnb as a home base as we explored the different waterfalls and hiking spots of the western upper peninsula. On the couple days we stayed in, the property was spacious, had a perfect dining table for puzzles and games, and the pool table in the basement was used during downtime. We did encounter a problem on our second to last day where we lost power and consequently water. An hour or so later a few trees fell and blocked the drive to the property due to a windstorm in the area. We immediately reported both issues and that the generator attached to the property did not start to the local manager and Vacasa through AirBnB. The team at Vacasa was able to dispatch someone to clear the driveway about 4 hours after we reported it. Our local manager Adam called us back about 3-hours after we left a voicemail with him and let us know that the generator was only for the property owner's use. Since we were blocked in with no power to run the water pump our main concern was running out of drinking water before the driveway was cleared. Adam graciously offered to bring us 8-gallons of water, he said that he was only a few minutes away and that he would bring it to us within an hour and a half. At the 2-hour mark, we reached out to Adam to ask for an update as to when he'd be delivering the water. We never heard back from Adam until a day after our departure when he let us know that they would be providing us a partial refund. Luckily that night we made it to a grocery store about 25 minutes away where we were able to purchase water. We never regained power before we checked out on our last day.
