Communication is poor with this host. Was told that I could get a free week at the end of my stay and the next next day told i could not take that time. Room was not clean on arrival. This was communicated to Air BnB and the host. Days later the cleaning crew arrived to clean the bathroom which I previously cleaned myself. Cleaning crew was shown the dirt and debris swept in the corner and side of the room, and did not remove it. Host claims the room is professionally cleaned and he charges $150 for the cleaning. The cleaning crew noted that they do not charge him nearly that much for cleaning. The room was never cleaned during a 30 day stay. The bathroom was only cleaned once. No change of linens was provided during stay. Told I could go to a laundromat and do it at my own time and expense. There was no key provided for bottom lock on door. Host made no mention of one existing, until I became locked out and had to wait over four hours to be let in.

The stay was very good. There were no blinds in the bathroom, which was weird, but the host was good about putting up a pretty good short term option. In case you missed it, there is no kitchen and no guaranteed laundry access. I wouldn’t necessarily take this over an apartment but it’s a lot nicer than most hotels.

The prior tenants were not exactly cleanly and the porter had quite a time cleaning up before I could check in, but that was not Paul's fault! The stay was great. at times I had forgotten there were other guests near, so even though it's shared, you would never know!
