We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeside, was perfect for what we needed. View was amazing when it wasn't cloudy haha. We will definitely try book again for next years event.

beds were comfortable, the view was fantastic, need some maintance done, like the gutters need work when it's rains it was pouring out like a water fall keeping me awake the second night. the front slider needs replacing. the cleaners need to check the the property before they leave as found dirty clothing under the bed and a rat under the outside table.

This was the perfect place for us (family of 3 traveling from California). We loved coming back to a clean, bright & beautiful house after exploring the area. The house is located close to many hikes and many attractions. We highly recommend this as a home base for exploring Lake Taupō and Rotorua. The views of the lake are mesmerizing- every day is a different view depending on the weather and light, absolutely loved the serenity of this place.

This was a great place--easy to get to food, the lake, and hikes--with a few places to walk near by. The view from the deck and master is gorgeous. We did feel like the showers would run out of hot water relatively quickly--so if you took a shower after someone else, you would definitely get icy water pretty quickly, but definitely not the worst thing to deal with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay here. Fabulous location in Acacia Bay with an amazing restaurant in walking distance. The property is extremely child friendly. It is well baby proofed with rubber stoppers on the kitchen handles, a child toilet seat and a child hallway area with plenty of toys. That being said, the pictures of the property make it appear newer and sleeker than it is. The property has received some wear and tear over the year as expected but the level at which this has been rectified makes for a poor finish to what is a fabulous property.
