Lavender House, is an inviting detached residence nestled on a tranquil residential lane, just a brief ten-minute bus ride away from the bustling heart of Oxford city centre. This elegantly furnished home welcomes up to four guests, accommodating them in two double bedrooms and a dedicated office with desk. A dedicated off-road parking space caters to standard-sized cars. Situated on a serene lane within the vibrant Oxford suburb of Summertown. About Lavender House: Ground Floor - Living Room furnished with two seater sofa and easy chair, flat screen television - Dining Room with dining table and seating for four. Door leads out into the garden - Kitchen with fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and toaster - Small utility room with washing machine and dryer First Floor - Bedroom one facing out to the garden and furnished with a standard double bed (137cm x 190cm), chest of drawers and wardrobe. - Bedroom two at the front of the house and furnished with a standard double bed (137cm x 190cm), chest of drawers and wardrobe. - Family bathroom with bath and shower over bath - Study room with desk Outside - There is a spacious private rear garden Other Information - WiFi - One off road parking space for a standard size car. - Public transport direct to Oxford

The house is lovely and has a beautiful garden. Unfortunately, we experienced problems with plumbing being quite loud any time the water is running and the kitchen even faucet letting water run at random times at night, but this should hopefully be fixed soon.

Lavender House is situated along a quite side street called Victoria Road, in the north Oxford suburb of Summertown. The home as one allocated parking space, but is also just a 15 minute bus ride to central Oxford.
Summertown is a stunning suburb of Oxford situated about 1 mile north of the city centre, bristling with restaurants, bars and shops (including quality supermarkets and chemists), and a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool and sports facilities. Also in North Oxford are the beautiful University Parks (open to everyone) where you can walk, picnic, punt on the river and watch cricket in the summer.
Oxford city centre is 1 mile away, only ten minutes by bus, with the bus stop very close to the apartment. It is a pleasant journey, straight down the Woodstock Road/St Giles, taking you past North Oxford's distinctive Victorian Gothic architecture and university buildings. The excellent location and transport links make this an ideal Oxford holiday letting, whether you are looking for a corporate booking or a holiday cottage in Oxford.

We have a great team of holiday cottage professionals who have lived in the area for a combined number of 60 years and are more than happy to share their knowledge and advice on where to explore, whether you are here for a holiday, working, or studying. We are here to look after you before, during and after your stay. We operate to high standards of property care. We require full electrical, gas and other safety certificates to be updated annually by the owners. Our team is Cristina, Maddy, and Mandie (plus a platoon of housekeepers and handymen and women who keep our holiday cottages in tip top condition). We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful cottages and apartments.
