Great place. Super affordable. Clean and quite and shady. Heat pump cooled the place great even on 90 degree days. Perfect for a couple. Second bedroom was tight but is was just the 2 of us. We didn't see anybody all 4 days. Tennessee hospitality was unsurpassed. Everybody we ran into on the lake welcomed us to the state. Loved the circular drive for ease of pulling my bass boat in and out, power for recharging my batteries and walking distance to a wonderful free boat launch. No lake fee or permits needed. The lake was amazing and super swimmable. Make sure to check out the rock shoal right where the finger enters the main river. There is a protected little pool behind the shoal. We ran down to Pirates cove for refreshments. Cool little resort and marina. Ran up the lake to the state park and down to the historic railroad bridge with no problem. More kitchen appliances and small wares than some commercial kitchens I've worked in. Bring charcoal and firewood for the grill and big fire

Debra’s place had all the amenities of home and was within walking distance to the water. It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway!

Very quiet secluded area. Had the amenities we needed. Not real fancy but clean & comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Great parking if you have a boat or even 2 boats. Pull thru driveway, don't have to backup.

I loved it! I gave it one less star for location ONLY because you cannot see the water from the back porch. That having been said, a very short walk down the drive puts you within view of the water, and less than 1/4 mile walk puts you at the boat dock! This "cabin" would be great for anyone with a boat wanting to fish KY Lake. Pull straight in; no backing up a trailer--pull straight out and down to the water! Also great for families with small children who like to "camp" (but be inside to sleep at night in the cool, without the bugs)--fire ring, hammock, kayaks, and back porch screened with woods. Movies, games, and puzzles inside. PERFECT! Best of all for me, it was quiet. I just needed to get away to read and study for a while in the middle of the week. Almost complete silence except for the critters outside. Kitchen appliances, flooring, etc., look brand new. The place is cuter on the inside than the outside! Finally, you cannot beat the price. A bargain. I'll be back!
