This was our first trip to Gatlinburg and air bnb experience. We found the cabin to be very cozy and comfortable. We didn’t even get out of the car before we saw our first encounter with a black bear! We’ve seen about 6 in total during our week stay. Definitely recommend driving to the cabin during daylight since the mountain roads can be challenging when you don’t know the area. Our intentions of the trip was to spend more time at the cabin enjoying the hot tub and Mountain View’s more than the downtown scene…luckily since we arrived on a Sunday of Memorial weekend the first couple days of the week were quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately since there is a new home being constructed next door we have spent the remainder of the week being awakened by hammers and the days are full of noise with saws and workers etc. would be helpful to disclose this in the listing so that guests can decide. Overall the aspects of the home were very comfortable, clean, and the Mountain View’s were perfect.

We had a wonderful time, loved Luanda's place and the views and really appreciated how close to the park and great hiking we were. We'd absolutely recommend this spot and would gladly return.

Such a beautiful, cozy spot on the mountain. Comfy beds, great room for movies, and unbeatable views. And of course, a visit by a bear.

What a great place overlooking downtown Gatlinburg! The view was amazing and it was a quick 8-10 minutes to the town and 15-20 minutes to some of the best hiking trails. I would recommend Luanda’s place to anyone visiting the area.
