We loved this place! It was perfect to catch up with friends after a day of hiking at Falls Creek. It was super clean and we had all we needed to cook breakfasts and dinner each day. We arrived at night and Michelle responded right away to my phone call about getting into the house (she had sent an email but we were driving so I missed it before I called her-that is on me). There were three of us traveling, so everyone had their own space to retire to at night and all of the rooms/beds were super comfortable. It was raining in the evenings while we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful property, but we did enjoy the views from the windows. Just an overall wonderful place. I would definitely stay here again.

Michelle's place is amazing if you enjoy a country setting. Or watching the sunrise or sunset, star gazing on a beautiful night, having a fire to relax around, enjoying a book looking out a picture window that overlooks a farm, short walks around (your own farm house), a movie on a lazy night, or just a calm relaxing lay on a hammock. Must I say more? Okay farm animals we seen cows, sheep, and a donkey Tony Red all from the front porch. Or walk out to road for a closer look!! Very enjoyable space to relax after the day at Fall Creek Falls State Park. Great park I must add. Also many other state parks close by. The restaurant in Fall Creek is good, or need to drive to town. But cooking at the house is very easy all you need to bring is food. If have little ones there is a bunk bed in one room and a futon type couch in another. Kid books and dvds.

Michelle is a wonderful host! Her country home was built by her family in 1944 and has a sweet history of the couple that built it. The drive and scenery getting there is beautiful. The yard and home are great. So peaceful and relaxing in the middle of the family farm. Inside is charming and spacious. Had all we needed. Cozy! Loved the country kitchen, large living area and bedrooms. Beautiful hardwood floors. The ramp and handicap shower was what we needed with my 84 yr old partner in a wheelchair. Michelle left fantastic information. Just minutes from Fall Creek Falls park, the falls are impressive. Saw UT Botanical Gardens. Pikeville is a charming town. Definitely eat at The Butter Dish! Amazing food and desserts! The Hummingbird Cake is delicious! You will leave there very full or with leftovers. There are neat shops and businesses. We definitely want to come back and stay in Michelle’s home again. It’s very homey and nostalgic. Definitely a wonderful experience. Thanks Michelle!
