A hidden gem is a perfect description! The cabin is so cozy and luxurious. All the linens are so plush and soft. The peace and quiet here is unmatched and the views are incredible. My favorite part is that you can access the outdoors from every main room. Stargazing on the upstairs bedroom balcony is a must. My husband and I will be reminiscing about this stay for a while.

We use AirBnbs almost exclusively in our travels. This is one of the nicer places we’ve stayed. The cabin was beautifully decorated with soft, comfortable linens and furniture. Pet friendly is always a plus, especially when there’s a treat jar! We loved that Kate uses NC sourced, environmentally friendly cleaning products and soaps. The location is a short commute to downtown Boone and surrounding areas. The gravel drive could be a problem for low profile vehicles and drivers not familiar with mountain driving. Our Prius made it just fine for our Spring visit. We noticed a few signs of wear: hot tub jets on one side were not working, trash and dog poop left around the property, stains on the carpets and furniture. While it didn’t detract from our stay, we hope future renters take care to maintain the beauty of this cabin and its surroundings. All that being said, we ended up not wanting to leave and even asked Kate if there was an extra night available. Sadly there was not.
