Rainbow Cabin in Nelson Lodge has a wonderful view of Serpent Lake. The cabin has three bedrooms, one full bathroom and a kitchen with dining area. Nelson Lodge is a property that was formerly a small resort - so has a few cabins on the same parcel. The beach and firepit area are shared space with other cabins. At this time, this is a seasonal cabin, so is unavailable to rent from mid-fall through early spring. Two of the bedrooms have a queen bed in them. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds. The living room area is attached the the kitchen and dining area and is quite small. The beach with a dock, and a firepit are shared space with other cabins.

We loved our stay at Beth’s cabin. It’s cozy but well equipped and clean, with great views of the lake right out the front windows. The shared dock, fire pit, BBQ, kayaks and SUPs were great too!

Such a beautiful well stocked lodge space, we had a wonderful Celebration of Life for my mother. Lots of parking, Beth is a terrific host, she was very helpful and gracious!
Loved the location! very close to everything we were looking to do and provided some awesome recommendations based off our needs during the stay. The communal fireplace was mentioned in the listing but not an ideal set up. would have liked our own fireplace but again it was mentioned in the listing so totally understandable. communication was impeccabl! thanks Beth for hosting!
The lakefront cabin and surrounding property is beautiful and well cared for. We enjoyed the view and the access to the water. Beth was amazing host, responsive with prompt communication and accommodating our requests! We highly recommend staying at one of her lake cabins!!!

A quiet, residential neighborhood on the south side of Serpent Lake in Deerwood Township, Minnesota.
The cabin is comfortably located 10 minutes from downtown Crosby where you can find a grocery store, drug store, antique stores, bars, restaurants and a hospital. The trailhead for the famous Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Biking Trails is just over 3 miles away. There are also cross country ski and hiking trails nearby. Serpent Lake is a wonderful lake for swimming, boating and fishing.
