Ifra’s house is very sweet and comfortable, surrounded by nature and very close to the town center. Ifra helped us with local recommendations. Will definetely go back if we visit Skardu again.

I stayed for a single night and was kindly accommodated by Ifra as my booking at another location fell through. Even though it was a last minute effort to get a room for the night Ifra was helpful and willing to assist. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Its a comfortable, homely space to sleep in and Ifra and Zeeshan were gracious hosts who shared their dinner and breakfast (which they had freshly prepared) with me. Both meals were very fresh and delicious so that's definitely a huge value add if you get lucky. The bathroom facilities have room for improvement in terms of privacy and ease of accessibility but were clean and efficient. I would assume taking a shower in the winter months would be difficult because of the open-ness. The courtyard is beautiful and the hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend it to travellers who are looking for a more private, serene get away. Away from the main touristy hotels.

Amazing place! Beautifully decorated with everything local to the area like dried plants, rocks and lumber in a minimalistic manner. Ifra-Zeeshan duo made it an unparalleled experience for us; if you are into experiencing self-sufficient and minimalist life-style, don't think twice and go visit them. Hot water is available round the clock, kitchen is well equipped and is a beautiful amalgamation of vintage and functionality. They don't have either a refrigerator or a microwave oven as it is probably part of their lifestyle to cook fresh every time. (we never felt the need for a fridge or microwave oven there). Main Market is at walking distance and so is Shigar Fort/ Serena Hotel. Food delivery from some restaurants is also available. It is located some 50 meters down the old shigar road and is reachable on 4 wheelers. Parking space is also available. Tip if you're going to stay with Ifra: ask her about her herbs, local flora, their uses and benefits and she'll amaze you.

I cannot not recommend Ifra’s magical home enough. Ifra and her crew took such great care of us— it felt like coming home. It felt like finding old friends. Can’t wait to be back!

Ifra is a super awesome host. Very engaging, yet respectful of privacy. She has a beautiful little house. Neat, clean and beautifully decorated. Rooms were comfortable and the space outside was ideal for late night chats and early morning tea. We had a very pleasant stay.
