Loved our stay here, the location was beautiful next to the river and an enjoyable walk into town. You could also taxi around if you wanted to. There were a few ants in the bathroom but the staff sorted that out straight away and to be fair it's quite rural so is to be expected. The food is also nice!

I haven't visited Wang Wieng in over a decade and much has changed Unfortunately, I did not have time to revisit the town, but I found my time well spent at Interzone Resort. You'll want to wander the grounds at night and take in the beautiful lights and scenery. The bungalows provide a rustic but modern vibe. Real wood, not laminate, soft lights, a screen door, and a small balcony allow you to enjoy a drink on your porch or bed, with a view of the river ahead. There are structures for children to play and climb, several treehouses, and a giant hammock-net to take in the sun and mountain view. Rock climbers can schedule a climb and kayaks can be rented upstream. A small walkway leads to the river for a swim in the river. Nearby is another resort, with plenty of other activities. The hosts at Interzone were extremely helpful and kind. They arranged our tickets for the Lao China Rail and even made us a light dinner when we arrived so late. Spend a night at least, it's beautiful here.

We had a lovely stay at Interzone! We where right at the river and enjoyed a beautiful view. The owner is superfriendly and very helpful with all communications and recomendations. Interzone is a beautiful place with its own watchtower with beautiful view of the sunrise (which we used as a yogadeck :). The location is perfect, just out of town but close to all you want to see (caves, waterfalls, blue lagoons). We rented scooters and from the centre of town it is an easy 10 minute-drive, so we had restaurants ets close by. Upon arrival, ask a tuk tuk to bring you to Interzone (10 mins). Or rent a scooter. The owner send us perfectly clear instructions on how to find it. Totally recommended!

it's a nice place although it's difficult to get to, the road is practically non existent. staff mean well and are friendly. breakfast could improved....
