Families, couples, friends and professionals! Close to downtown, colleges, the Coliseum, children's activities and a very short walk to local shops and restaurants. Set high above the street and surrounded by trees, stay in a historic home with modern comforts. We carefully furnished each room purely for our guests to feel comfortable and at ease both inside and out. Enjoy a spacious, open floor plan, remodeled kitchen and 2 cozy, private porches. Even watch UNCG's field from the front porch! Our home is spacious and well laid out, especially the main floor where the common areas such as the living room, family room, kitchen, and dining room each flow seamlessly together, with no stairs. The main floor also has one bedroom with a queen bed, again, helpful for those bothered by stairs, and a full bathroom. (The architect was ahead of his time!) There are two workstations, a dedicated office upstairs (which can double as a fourth bedroom) and a small desk downstairs in the foyer. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom is the dedicated office space with a queen sofa-bed that is comfortable if needed (really...we did our research!). Just let us know ahead of your stay so we can make up the bed. The house and property are private and peaceful, both inside and out.

Our stay at this Airbnb was incredible! The space was even more beautiful than the pictures, and it served as a wonderful space to host my bridesmaids during my wedding weekend! Everyone who came into the space raved about it! I could not have asked for a better Airbnb! The beds were incredibly comfy. Hosts were also incredibly helpful when we realized a couple items were left behind.

Beautiful home….very spacious and comfortable. Loved the neighborhood….very walkable community. FYI….upstairs shower never produced hot water and takes a while for warm water. But, still incredible stay! Thank you, Kristin!

We had a nice stay. The driveway is a little steep and there is a collegiate field right across the street that is a little noisy in the morning starting around 6. Very walkable to Tate street, downtown, and the university area.

This house truly was a dream for our family! We stayed with our two teenage children for a swim meet at the GAC and this home was the perfect place to rest and recharge. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare and cook meals and it was wonderful having two full bathrooms! Our favorite parts were the front porch and the back deck - perfect spots to relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The location was ideal and the communication with the host excellent!! We will book again when back in Greensboro!!

This property is perfectly situated downtown, overlooking the Greensboro College football field.
The front porch is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful 100+ year old homes and trees that surround you. Shops and food nearby and/or within walking distance, you'll find the convenience and location are just about perfect - without the noise being so close to downtown usually entails. At night, be sure to take in the beautiful, amber-colored glass historic lamp posts that line the street.

There is parking for four cars in the back of the house and we ask you follow our directions to keep our neighbors happy. Two cars should park end to end facing the back porch/door and two others could park between the two trees at the top of the driveway and a little to the left. We will have signs out there soon marking the spots. There is ample street parking in front, free on Saturday and Sunday but 1 hour only Monday-Friday. No one has seen any parking enforcement in some time though - just be forewarned especially as there's plenty of parking up top. Many guests simply walk downtown, about 2/3- 1 mile away, a 15-20 minute walk, depending on where you are going. Or it's a short drive in your own vehicle or a ride-for hire company. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a 4-10 minute walk. We have a number of them listed in our Guidebook as well as how close the main venues are about town.
