Loved our stay - a group of us went for a spectacular put on by the Royal Ballet at a wine estate at Rocchetta Tanaro - we had no other plans or expectations of the area - but it is really lovely - some great restaurants and walks and such friendly locals - we had a ball at the local wine festa including a fabulous Queen tribute band! Great food and wine shops in Mombercelli. The house is enormous and the pool very special. It’s so big you can find a quiet spot very easily. It’s upgraded from the original by practical and stylish furniture and furnishings. Be warned it is south facing and gets really hot and we all got attacked by mosquitos. It’s got everything you need except we didn’t have internet! But we didn’t care! we really couldn’t have had a more relaxed and fun weekend and if we went back to the area I hope we’d stay there again!

Wir waren sechs Nächte mit elf Personen in der wunderbaren Unterkunft und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind viel geräumiger als es auf den Fotos wirkt. Der Pool, das Haus sowie der Außenbereich waren sauber. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter! Danke für die tolle Zeit Kleiner Tipp: Autan einpacken, die Mücken waren teilweise sehr hartnäckig 😋

Vi tilbrakte en liten uke i dette praktfulle huset. Huset var mye større enn det så ut på bildene og soverommene var veldig romslige. Det lå utrolig skjermet i de vakreste italienske omgivelsene. Det er kort vei til masse fine opplevelser. Verten var meget hjelpsom både i forkant og under oppholdet og gav oss gode råd og tips underveis. Vi tilbrakte mesteparten av tiden utenfor ved det fantastiske bassengområdet der det var rikelig med sitteplasser og solsenger. Hagen som omrammet huset var også fasinerende med utrolig mye flott flora. Alt var velstelt og smakfult. Her kommer vi gjerne tilbake.

Great place to stay and relax! Good for road biking, hiking and family or larger group stays. Professional co-host handles affairs regarding the stay. It is a secluded private location with a nice view towards the town Mombercelli (1 km walk). The place is equipped with 3 bathrooms and five sleeping rooms (3 master bed rooms), 2 kitchen (one with dishwasher), a nice outdoor pool, a small outdoor grill, two umbrellas, a Hollywood swing, an indoor dining area for a party of ten, a living room, a pool table, a washing machine, an indoor pizza oven (was broken), enough space for parking at the private and fenced property. Great atmosphere! Call it a hidden gem if you want. Mombercelli has small supermarket, a central cafe and a butcher. Wednesdays is farmers market. The slightly larger towns around offer larger supermarkets. The hills around the town a full of vineyards and the region offers supreme food / restaurants. Booking recommended!
