School House is a lovely, quiet 2 bedroom cottage which was originally part of a converted Victorian school building. Set in an small village in Shropshire with Shrewsbury centre just 7 miles away, you'll have access to the many activities and places of interest which Shropshire has to offer, including the village & museums of Ironbridge (12 miles) as well as numerous scenic walks in the Shropshire Hills and The Wrekin. The local pub, The bulls Head, is a 1 minute walk for dining and drinks. The cottage has recently been refurbished and some of the lovely furnishings are in-keeping with the old school building. Downstairs has a comfortable sitting room for relaxing with Samsung TV (with Freeview) and an electric fire to warm things up quickly. We have a bright and airy open plan kitchen with central island unit which is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer, and a dining area to seat 4. Grab a drink each, and relax. Four-legged friends are welcome here. They must be well behaved please, for £20 each per stay (this is to deep clean the property after your stay for any guests with allergies). Please request this through Airbnb messaging, since the booking process will not charge you for this. *(Please ensure your pets are kindly kept off furniture, chairs and beds)*. Thank you. We ask that guests always use the rear door to enter a spacious utility room first, to take off shoes / clean up your pets before going into the house. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a king size (2 singles joined together). A travel cot for infants is also available on request at £15 per stay and a high chair at £10 - please advise if you require these and bring your own bedding for the cot. Upstairs is a spacious and modern main bathroom upstairs with separate shower cubicle and bath also with mixer shower tap. A washroom with toilet is accessed from the kitchen downstairs.
