The studio apartment was clean and perfect for me being a solo traveler. Check in was flawless with Ariana. The market nearby was convenient to grab what you need on the walk back from the beach. I walked about a mile everyday to get to my favorite bar on the water, Bugaloe. An easy and safe walk no matter what time it is. I would definitely stay there again! Is it for everyone? probably not. There is no hot water, but the water on the island is not cold at all. It is more refreshing after the walk back.

It’s a small, very clean efficiency in a residential neighborhood. The pictures definitely made it look more glamorous but again, it was very clean and great for the price. Minor issue needed fixing in the shower that I told my host about. Amenities provided in the bathroom, I had to buy paper towels and dish soap, not a huge deal. The bed was a little hard. The best part was a very kind pickup and drop off at the airport! A nice offering and made travel easy. Ariana was SO nice and gave me a little tour as we drove and also some recommendations for restaurants. Wacky Wahoo is a must! The apartment is about 1/2 mile walk to the beach or the bus stop. It was doable, but it’s not a super-short walk. It became a little more challenging in the dark so I definitely needed my flashlight and Google maps to get me back. There’s some dogs in the area that can be a little intimidating by barking when you walk by, but they were just protecting their territory. It was a clean, safe place to stay.

The Airbnb was super clean, comfortable bed and sheets. Nice little refrigerator and great shower. Would definitely recommend renting a car, the temps are quite hot for multiple walks into town or the beach each say. Although, there are several restaurants and a coffee shop that are closer than the main tourist area (10min walk vs 20-25). I barely noticed the roosters, although the dogs in the neighborhood can be a bit pesty while walking. Adri and LJ are both super nice and stay pretty busy with their holistic cafe-wish I would’ve had a chance to visit!

LJ and Adri were amazing hosts. Adri was my go to for recommending the best spots to go to on the island and was there whenever I needed something. If you’re travelling and want to get to know more about the culture and local Aruba, I would recommend staying here. Hosts were super welcoming and gave me such a positive outlook about the island.

LJ and Ariana are great hosts. They are helpful, always reply quickly on any our questions. They recommended us some places to see. Also they are providing Uber services which was a big advantage for us. They were also flexible about check out time. They picked us up and dropped off on the airport for free. The place is close to the restaurants and shops. We had a good time there.
