Apartment was ok except the couch is in bad condition, you can’t sit on it for longer than 10-15 minutes due to little padding/ damage. The location was really bad. Walking around at night felt unsafe, homelessness is really bad in the neighbourhood which I didn’t know at the time I booked. My car was also broken into parked outside the apartment. Other than that, the host wrongly charged me more than the amount we had agreed on before I booked the place because I wanted to stay for a shorter time, he said he would refund it but later said he needed to charge me more because his math was off. I had to send him screenshots of our conversation to make my case, to which he said “you have a good argument,” but “I can’t lose money”. I had read the reviews before booking, there were bad reviews, but his replies to them convinced me the guests were in the wrong. Anyway the apartment was mostly fine, location was very bad, the incident with the host was the worst part though.

J'ai séjourné pendant 5 mois dans l'appartement de Tashi. Il bénéficie d'une excellente situation, niché dans un quartier tranquille entre le Parc La Fontaine et la rue Sainte-Catherine. Sa proximité avec le centre-ville, le Vieux-Port et d'autres quartiers le rend très pratique. De nombreuses commodités se trouvent à proximité. La chambre principale est spacieuse et lumineuse, et l'ensemble de l'appartement est agréable à vivre. Le quartier offre une atmosphère de tranquillité et d'intimité, en plus de quoi Tashi est très réactif pour communiquer et aider en cas de besoin.

I stayed for two month in Tashis flat and it's clearly not worth CAD $2500/month Pros: spacious; easy to reach by public transport; grocerie store, drug mart, bars, restaurants nearby; Tashi answered messages promptly and helpfully Cons: bathroom and kitchen weren't clean, even after requesting Tashi to come clean more thoroughly still lots of short black hair everywhere; apartment overall in heavily used condition; broken furniture (e.g., night stands, cabinets in bedroom); scribbled on & battered furniture; couch with very thin padding, thus very inconvenient to sit on it; doors of master bedroom and bathroom can't be shut; whole floor is uneven; dark and barely sunlight because the opposite exterior wall is in 3m distance; surfaces in the kitchen, dishes and the pots were sticky; flickering light in the shower; ceiling light in the smaller bedroom doesn't work; cleaning utensils dirty and nasty; vacuum cleaners container hasn't been emptied since months

the place is good, and my friend had a good time there, But it's pity that i haven't gotten the chance to go to Canada. The host is polite and enthusiastic

El departamento es muy amplio, agradable, con mucha luz y está muy bien equipado. Además, está ubicado en un barrio muy céntrico de Montreal que permite acceso tanto al parque La Fontaine, en donde hay muchas actividades para realizar en invierno, como cerca de barrios culturales y comercialedsmuy importantes. Desde el departamento es muy fácil caminar en poco tiempo a los barrios más céntricos e importantes de la ciudad, así como ir en transporte público a muchos sitios. Hemos pasado una muy buena temporada en el departamento. Seguramente regresaremos. A todo ello hay que agregar que Tashi es un gran anfitrión; siempre pendiente y preocupado de que todo esté bien. Me ayudó a conseguir algunos utensilios necesarios para la cocina y respondió rápidamente a todas mis preguntas y comentarios del departamento y la ciudad. En síntesis un gran anfitrión y un bello departamento.
