Casa do Povo is an amazing find to those who want to disconnect and relax. Its location is great and well connected. There are lots of impressive destinations within an hour drive, but if you just want to stay in and enjoy the pool, please do, it's highly recommended. The kitchen is not that big, but is comfortable enough to cook a meal. WiFi works great if you happen to need it and jump into a work video call.And then there's Fernando, a caring host that is willing to go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I wish I could gatekeep this place for myself, but it wouldn't be fair. I just hope to find it free next year :)

Preciosa casa reformada y muy bien decorada. Es pequeña pero tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. La zona de la piscina muy bonita, cómoda y bien orientada por lo que está soleada todo el día. Está cerca de supermercados y restaurantes locales varios de ellos nos los recomendó el anfitrión. La playa de Comporta está a 25 minutos . Los dueños muy amables .

Casa do Povo is a lovely, well decorated place. The pool is definitely the best feature of the house. The location is close to supermarkets (2' by car) , local restaurants (5'by car) or you can walk if you don't mind the hills on the way back. 30' driving from Comporta beach and surroundings. The hosts were very responsive.
