This was a great house. Incredible views and very clean. Only hiccups were that the kitchen has supplies and spices but was missing a few things (tricky to get supplies when the closest store is Oakhurt or Yosemite Valley Floor). There were a few minor hiccups with the thermostat and some kitchen hardware but the Vacasa team was super helpful in responding and answering our questions. Know before you go - you should also bring your own bath / shower products.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this house for our 3-day trip to Yosemite. I would consider staying here again, but the following are my feedback: Pros: -great location, clean house, very spacious, easy check-in process, beautiful views, 4 bedrooms (even though the description states 3 bedrooms, this is not true, there are two master bedrooms with two smaller bedrooms). Cons: -The kitchen faucet hose needs to be replaced, it spashes water all over the place and makes doing dishes very difficult. -the stairs getting up to and down the house when its snowing or icy is very scary. Be very careful with the stairs, and make sure you can go up about 30 sets of stairs before booking. -The communication on airbnb with vacasa was not very good. I noticed every time I asked a question, I got an immediate automated response, which often did not answer my specific question. -Make sure to bring your own Shampoo/conditioner, the ones provided are not very good, even for a short stay

Horrible stay, wouldn’t recommend it if it’s snowing. - Drive way is very steep and if it’s snowing you can’t park on the incline. Instructions mentioned 2 parking spots, but you can’t even use one. We asked for the shovel to clean the driveway, the host replied after a full day where it is. - Heater inside doesn’t work well enough, we checked into the house and it was 45 Degrees, it took 24 hours to get the temperature up to 70 degrees. The bottom room was un-livable even after, the heat doesn’t work in there at all. We requested a maintenance person to check, nobody came. - The gas fireplace runs slowly, we asked about it and their response was to put firewood inside, don’t want to say anything more there. - Only thing working for it is it’s location.

The stay was fine and we enjoyed it. The only challenge was the climb and with kids it made it more tough. Snow on the steep road made the walk very tough.
