About 12 km from Todi, in between old farmhouses and gentle valleys, where cultivated fields and sunflowers open up to large olive groves and thick woods, is our corner of Paradise on a hill, 600 meters above sea level, which overlooks the picturesque landscape dominated by Mount Peglia, UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
And right here, in the heart of Umbria, next to the country resort Fattoria di Vibio, this villa, an exclusive accommodation which guarantees you peace and privacy, is located.
Independent and isolated from the resort by more than 300 olive trees, the property enjoys a privileged position, camouflaged by quiet nature.
The villa is a typical stone farmhouse in Umbrian style. Thanks to the amazing beauty of the location, this newly restored villa with all its comforts is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday and the ideal start to discover the priceless natural, cultural and historical Umbria.
The villa has a beautiful private swimming pool (6 × 12 meters), which enjoys a breathtaking view of the Umbrian hills and the valley of Mount Peglia.
It has been carefully restored preserving the typical rural Umbrian materials and features, like the oak beam , stone fireplace and travertine tiled floors, exposed stone walls and tastefully decorated rooms, keeping the attention on the details and the Umbrian tradition .
The property offers an opportunity to experience a holiday of relaxation and peace.
The small but lovely town Doglio is within walking distance of the house (approx. 2 km) and has a nice bar and a small grocery store.
Description of the farmhouse
Through the path that opens up in the woods, you reach the gate of the villa, from which starts a narrow road, lined with cypress trees. You enter the property from the stone paved porch and you will have an immediate idea of the space and the spirit of the house.
GROUND FLOOR
The entrance immediately offers to the visitors the sight of a knowingly saved original niche. On the far left you will find the wooden staircase leading to the first floor.
On the right hand you enter the spacious living room with fireplace and large dining area.
Tastefully decorated, the living room with a big TV screen (55") and satellite channels, is very cozy and bright, thanks to the French doors which open out to the garden with views over the large pool, the olive grove and the splendid panorama of Mount Peglia and its valley.
From the dining area, passing under a large arch in the wall, you enter the lovely kitchen fully equipped with appliances and pantry. Also here a glass door leading into the garden.
Behind the living room, closed by a door, you enter sleeping area through a corridor, a double room next to a bathroom and a master bedroom suite with French doors to the garden, large closet and bathroom with en-suite shower.
Turning left from the entrance, there is access to a hallway with a closet containing washing machine and dryer and service tools such as iron board and iron etc.
Beyond the hallway , there is another large double bedroom with en-suite shower and comfortable walk in closet.
FIRST FLOOR
On top of the wooden staircase which leads to the tower on the first floor, a corridor leads to a single room and a large double room with panoramic balcony and a bathroom with a spacious shower.
OUTSIDE AND GARDEN
Large portico with a long table and wooden benches with breathtaking view, a pleasant and spacious garden with trees surrounding the house, a garage for 2 cars, a fully equipped swimming pool 6m × 12m with Roman entrance (open from mid May to mid September or upon request) immersed in 4 hectares of olive groves.

We strongly reccomend a car to to get around and explore the area but you can walk (approx. 2km) down to the the small but charming Doglio which has a bar and a small grocery store. The large supermarket EMI located near the highway exit is a 20 min drive.
Montecastello de Vibio is a 15 min drive and has a nice restaurant called Colpo di Scena. Todi which has som nice restaurants (e.g. Pane e Vino, Osteria Valle and Trattoria Da Piero e Silvana) is a 20 min drive. Perugia the captial of Umbria is a 45 min drive. Orvieto which is a very nice town with a cathedral and Sct. Patrick's Well is a 45 min drive. Montefalco which is very cosy and has a great truffle restaurant (Re Tartu) is a 45 min drive.
If you do not want to use a car it is possible to arrange rental of bikes including electric bikes from rentalbikeitaly.
There is also a nice restaurant (which also has take-away pizzas) in Quadro (Circolo Ricreativo Quadro) which is only 4 km from the house. It is also possible to eat at the agriturismo Agrincontri (2,5 km from the house) if you book in advance.
If you want to have dinner made for you at the house that is also possible.
