The home is absolutely beautiful! Great for a peaceful weekend away and to enjoy nature. Surreal experience sleeping in a Scotland castle!

Excellent property. George was professional and responsive - even offering to collect the smoked salmon ahead of our arrival and leave it in the fridge - since we arrived just before Christmas and most of the stores were closing early for the holiday. The drive from Inverness airport was beautiful but hard going in winter. It’s pitch black from about 3.30 PM, and even the A road is only a single carriage way - very narrow - with no road markings, and an annoying raised curb on the left. But the house was worth the white knuckle drive. The property is gorgeous - classic decor without being starchy - and the owners had installed a Christmas tree and holiday decorations in advance of our arrival which was a lovely touch. They also left a welcome gift basket with wine and local goods - so nice. We are definitely planning on a return trip - though probably in summer when we won’t have to contend with howling winds, hail the size of golf balls and blizzard conditions.

WOW! What an amazing stay! A great combination of modern comforts with traditional feel. Everything was amazing from start to finish. Extremely clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing venue and location for a family gathering, George was extremely helpful and friendly, easy communication in the run up to our stay & useful recommendations of local services. House contains everything you could ever need, plenty of space for people to spread out including cosy tv room and table tennis room for the kids, luckily the weather was immense so we were also able to make the most of the coast paths down to Dunnet beach and Peedie sands.
