We had a great time, fantastic fishing just off the dock for the kids. Kids loved the walk in beach and shallow water just to splash around in. Cottage was clean and tidy when we arrived, great space just to lay back and relax. Only issue we had was the neighbours on either side liked to walk right through the lake side of the property but once I had a discussion with them if they could walk through the front side, they obliged and no further issues. Definitely would rent again and recommend

We LOVED our stay here! Everything was exactly as advertised and clean. The kids loved the walk-in beach area, and the rest of us loved the cozy cottage feel and the great views. This cottage is dog friendly as well, and our 2 dogs had a great time. We will definitely be back next year!

Chad took care of a few things including replacing a broken dryer before we arrived and was quick to respond. We were excited to spend a week here but had to cut our trip short as we found mice in the kitchen next to our food. We come to this area every year and stay at different cottages and never had such issues.

Great cottage for our family vacation! We had 8 adults, 2 babies, and 3 dogs and we had lots of room! Loved the property and sandy walk in to the lake. It was nice having access to a tin boat, canoe and couple of kayaks! Chad and Tourgunn were a pleasure to communicate with. Fast responses, super kind and helpful. The cottage was very spacious and comfortable. Definitely looking forward to another family cottage week here :)

Pros: We had a good time at this cottage since we were with family. The location of the cottage is superb. Enjoyed kayaking and canoeing very much. Watching the sunrise every morning, somedays even from the master bedroom while having our tea, was a plus. There were more than enough outdoor chairs which we enjoyed very much. Loved having most of our meals sitting around the large dining table. There are enough pots and pans and cooking utensils. We made many meals without a problem. Chad's response time is great. Appreciate Chad providing more fans ASAP. Thanks Chad. Cons: One of our grandkids fell off the bunk bed without a railing. We had to rush him to the hospital and he got two stitches! It's our fault as much as yours because we feel we should have noticed it in pictures before booking your cottage. The bathrooms are not clean at all. It is a run down cottage and the pictures on Airbnb are deceiving. It looks nice from outside but the inside was dirty. The surfaces were not disinfected/sanitized. We had to do that before we started our week there. Floors were not properly vacuumed or mopped. When we opened the closet to get the vacuum, it smelled like dead mice! And the vacuum was full! Everything needs many improvements. When we arrived there was a lot of dog poo in the yard and we had to pick them. The area around the cottage needs to be cleared. The grass behind was at least two feet tall and there are many bushes. The large number of mosquitoes and flies could have been avoided to a certain extent if the area was cleared. The lawn needs to be mowed before guests arrived. The BBQ was not cleaned. The bedding didn't look like they all have been washed. The cushions on the living room couches were terribly dirty and smelly. They had stains. All had zippers and don't understand why they are never washed. Need to replace them with new cushions! Asking the guests to take garbage to the dump when it is not opened daily is a problem. Keeping them in the mud room as Chad suggested is unhealthy and disgusting. The cottage needs to have enough outdoor garbage bins with heavy lids and locks as in campgrounds and other cottages so the racoons can't get into them.
