This is a cute home located near downtown Belton. The home is clean and well maintained, and Maile has added thoughtful amenities, such as K-cups for the Keurig and eating and cooking utensils. The hot showers were wonderful, with both bathrooms offering strong water pressure. The negatives are, of course, include the location near the railroad crossing/tracks. The trains are loud and come regularly. I didn't think it would bother me, but going back to sleep after the train was sometimes difficult. Another negative that I had not thought of is, being close to downtown meant the street the house is on has fairly high traffic passing through. So, when backing out of the house driveway you had to be careful to look both ways before backing out onto the street, because the cars were generally going faster than a regular a neighborhood street. This is just something to be aware of. Overall, this home was a good, affordable choice for a short stay.
