very beautiful and peaceful location. beautiful property and garden's. lovely to sit out on the terrace eating and drinking, listening to music and looking over the garden. very relaxing.

An absolute dream of a place if you are looking for a getaway from the busy city life. I checked in with my wife and two young kids and from start to finish Stacey was on hand to help, from finding the place to local recommendations to allowing us to eat her fresh apples and explore the surrounding land, she was fantastic! It’s a beautiful house with great amenities which gives you all the creature comforts of a city house but with a extremely peaceful location, the best of both worlds. The garden was exceptional with nice privacy and was perfect for the kids and there’s loads to do nearby, newborough beach was a highlight. Overall, highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

Firstly, we couldn’t recommend Hendre Wen enough; book this cottage and don’t waste your time looking elsewhere. Having looked at the pictures of the property prior to going, we were all really looking forward to getting to Hendre Wen to start our holiday; to say our expectations were exceeded upon arrival would be an understatement. It was everything we were hoping for and more. The cottage itself was beautifully presented with absolutely everything you could think of provided - it is also larger than the website has you believe, affording an abundance of space for the six of us. With regards to the grounds, they need to be seen to be appreciated and words would not do them justice; if you would like a small park as a place to entertain your kids or enjoy food and drink, it can’t be bettered. On a final point and a particular mention for hosts Stacey & Ian - their hospitality was a welcome surprise and went well beyond anything experienced before. Thank you so much.

Hendre Wen is a beautiful house in an amazing location. Plenty of room for the kids and the dog to play and have their own space. The large decked area was lovely to spend the afternoon or have a drink and food in the evening. Our pup Max was well catered for, with treats, blankets, towels and the dog wash station was a good addition. We loved the peace and quiet, but also easy access to beaches and places to visit. Stacey was really helpful with recommendations for dog friendly places to visit and eat. The kids were very sad to leave and are already asking when we can book for another visit!
