My family and I recently stayed at this charming cottage in Benzonia for a mid-winter break ski trip to Crystal Mountain. The experience was nothing short of fantastic, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The cottage itself is cozy and inviting, with a rustic charm that instantly made us feel at home. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the dining area was perfect for enjoying family dinners together. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. The location of the cottage is also ideal, with easy access to Crystal Mountain and other nearby ski resorts. Overall, our stay at this cottage was wonderful, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay while skiing in Michigan. We can't wait to come back again next year!

Ashel was an amazing host! From questions at booking to local recommendations for food and hiking, super responsive and great insight. Booked during a major snow storm and her flexibility was appreciated. I work in the travel industry and recognize genuine hospitality and Ashel is it! Side note - we were up there for a “bourbon blending class” at Iron Fish Distillery. This was an awesome experience, highly recommend a visit to Iron Fish or book a class!! Truly unforgettable weekend.

We immensely enjoyed our stay at this property. Not only was it spacious & felt like a home away from home, it was close to the river for us to fish. Being able to sit outside & enjoy a nice fire as well as see the wildlife in the morning was a nice bonus. Even though we somehow messed up our check out date, our host worked with us so we could get out in a somewhat timely manner. Our deepest apologies on that. Thank you for your hospitality & we will definitely keep you in mind for future stays.
