Beautiful Cosy cottage for a family of four, the location was great too! Would have been nice to know that you have to get your own fire wood. And the oven didn’t work either whilst we were there so that wasn’t ideal for us, an a knob on one of the kitchen draws kept coming off! Other than that we had a lovely stay!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful town, and great having a fire. Super accessible from the train. Only downside is communicating with the host outside of the Airbnb app.

A very nice cottage in a great location, walkable from the station, and within 10 minutes of some nice walking routes. Cosy feel with a great wood burning stove. Only critiques are that some of the interior is in need of a bit of updating - e.g. a couple of the windows don't close all the way, one of the kitchen drawers' handles was broken off, and some of the wood around the bathtub is blown from damp. One of the radiators also had its temperature control valve broken off, but this didn't really bother us (might have been more of a problem if the weather hadn't been warmer than usual), and the hosts offered to get maintenance in the next morning after we raised it. Overall we would recommend a stay here, and some minor maintenance works would have made it a 5 star experience.

A cute cottage within easy walking distance of the high street, station and lots of activities. Great place to spend a weekend away from London.

We had a relaxing and pleasant stay here - easy walking distance from the station, and only a short walk to the main pubs/restaurants/supermarkets of the town. Many thanks.
