Shakira was very responsive to any questions I had. The place was very clean, & was a great space. The only thing I’d have liked to have had is handicap access as we have a physically handicapped child. (I realize it’s not something that most people think of.) When I mentioned that we would need a ground floor unit with minimal/no stairs, she sent me the link to that unit she had available. She had mentioned the possibility of a ramp being built before our stay (but was unable to). I hope in the future there will be handicap access put in place, not just for our situation, but for others who have handicapped children or are handicapped themselves. The only real con to this stay is a lack of parking-particularly with a handicap van but even for other guests. We had to park the first night about a block away. The spaces are very narrow so it was a tight squeeze for everyone. Overall, I am very pleased with the place and Shakira’s help and promptness! Thank you, Shakira!

We were there for 2 weeks, training school. You will need to bring the basics, bath soap, shampoo etc. The host is very responsive, let her know if you need anything else. Quiet neighborhood. Across the street behind us is a great walking/fishing boardwalk, benches under shade trees for reading. Audubon bird center just a few blocks to the right. There is a cute ole fashioned diner across from the boardwalk - ask for Birdie - she makes the best local cakes in the area. Biloxi is a short 30 minutes away. A town called D'lberville has lots of restaurants and shopping. Pascagoula (15 minutes away) has a great walking boardwalk, pier and play area for kids. We now know that Jimmy Buffett was born there so we were able to walk to the home. Lots of beautiful homes in the area of Pascagoula. I would recommend that the hostess put together a manual of things to do, shopping etc. Overall, we would stay there again.
