We were greeted upon arrival, by our host, Barbara, and the sweet dogs. She was very helpful, and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay comfortable! We had a fun dinner, cooking outdoors, and were immersed in the novelty of this place, and its lovely surroundings. We have always enjoyed camping, and this was our last night of vacation, so we were able to experience the outdoor peacefulness of this area without any of the camping "packing" or set-up, and sleep in a comfortable bed! The hosts were available if we had questions, and have created all amenities to make the stay here a special experience!

I loved hiking through the trails, and spend a considerable amount of time on the observation deck! My dog is a bit reactive, and they were very understanding about keeping theirs in the kennel. They were very kind and the place was exactly as described! Peaceful and lovely.

1st Remember you're staying in a tent! A very nice tent but its still a tent, with a wood stove. There going to be dirt and ash in the cooler months. So it being clean is relative. with that understanding it was clean. This would be a 5 star 🌟 rating if it wasn't for the bathroom in the tent. I'm 100% for eco friendly composting, but a 5 gallon bucket in the tent next to the bed wasn't the family closeness were looking for. (it was separate by a curtain). I would prefer an outhouse away from the tent, we'll deal with the cold. The showers were super cute. especially the one on the right with the rock floor. Update the bathroom situation and we'll definitely be back!!!

Just what we needed! The place was excatly as promised and then some! The hosts were very friendly and willing to help with anything needed. We will be back!

What a wonderful stay! This place has some hidden gems that aren't in the description. Our tent was exactly as it was described and actually more comfortable than we expected! We thoroughly enjoyed cooking over the wood stove inside. The host also brought us board games because it was super cold outside after sunset. There are hiking/walking trails all along the property that offer beautiful scenery. Our kiddos enjoyed swinging on the rope swing and going on the overlook. The bathrooms are incredibly unique and inviting! They have environmentally friendly and quality bathroom products because they use the grey water from the site. They also have a compost bin and plentiful outdoor kitchen accommodations. If staying during the cold season * have a dedicated heat person*. The hosts gave us great instructions but it takes some getting used to, so have plenty of chopped fire wood inside and enjoy living a simpler life. We would stay here again and highly recommend for families orsingles
