Had a great weeks long stay at Mitch and Jessica’s place. Was nice to have a place away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Loved the pool and outdoor area. The beach chairs came in handy quite a bit. Would recommend this place to others. One thing for future users to be aware of, there are rooster(s) that crow around 6 am every morning. If you are a light sleeper, or like to sleep in, expect to get woken up by them, as they are located very close to the bedroom.

Our second time to Aruba was again a 10/10 experience. Mitch and Jessica are friendly and helpful with any information you may need. Definitely worth a stay and hope to continue to stay for vacations to come!

Wauw wat een plek! Heerlijk rustig en toch op 10 minuten auto afstand centraal. Het appartement heeft alles voor een heerlijk verblijf. Complete keuken en zelfs kruiden en koffie ontbrak niet. In de avond kan je kiezen waar je wilt zitten, lekker chillen op een lounge bank of gezellig aan tafel. We hebben het hier echt naar ons zin gehad! Dank je wel!

This is a special Aruban rental out in the Papaya countryside under the stars. Mitch and Jessica are friendly and helpful hosts who share their private oasis with guests. The landscaping is beautifully designed, the pool refreshing, and the one-bedroom casita is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped including oven. Or, you can bbq outdoors. The location is away from the high rise hotel district yet just 10 minutes from beaches, restaurants and Oranjestad. One of their cars is available for rent. One happy holiday at Casita Sonrisa.

We loved Mitch's place. We were so comfortable whether he or Jessica were home or not. We actually would have loved to have more time getting to know them better but there were too many beautiful beaches to see and explore. Beautiful pool and outdoor oasis. We loved waking up to the rooster and the open air breezes through the kitchen. Easy and fun to drive around. Better than sitting in front of a hotel for the trip. We didn't want to leave.
