We chose this spot because of its location for the eclipse and it was perfect. There are sunny spots of you want sun, and plenty of shade to cool off and relax. The porch and balcony were wonderful. The house itself will make you feel right at home. It has everything needed to cook and serve a large group, including an entire cupboard of spices. This was a wonderful spot to relax. There's not much in the way of local nightlife and entertainment, but that's not what we were looking for. And we did not try the dock or swimming because the water temp was still too cold in April.

This place was amazing and the host was extremely helpful and nice. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend it to everyone and hope to stay here again. Thank you Dorinda!!!

Dorinda’s place was perfect for out Thanksgiving holiday! We enjoyed the fire pit and found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our feast. The space was very comfortable and appreciated the touches of hospitality… smore fixins and a bottle of wine! Dorinda is an excellent host!

Awesome home to stay in.. Just like your home away from home everything you needed from hair care ,kitchen supplies. Extra waters and ice and Even . S’mores and wine to have using the fire pit ..if you wanted . The beds were comfortable and fans and charging stations for electronics . Tv ‘s in rooms and plenty of room for everyone to stay . We would recommend her place to everyone we know.. it was so handy for our family reunion to be down the road from our brother who lives there in Lake Palestine . Thank you for sharing your home ..
