Cute quiet place to stay. If you’re a fisherman, great location! Just a few minutes to nice ramp to a Great Lake to fish! We hauled a 13.5 lb bass out of the lake! Great time we will be back! Easy drive to Gainesville and Ocala.

The house was very cute. We only needed a place to sleep during a very busy graduation weekend at UF, so we didn't use the kitchen or spend much time in the house. The upstairs bedroom is really nice and bright. We did go for a long morning walk down several streets and were greeted by horses, a very laid back bull, goats, a very happy dog, and a friendly neighbor having morning coffee. Russell was communicative prior to our stay and gave detailed directions to the house and instructions on access to the key. He even offered early check-in if needed. The only downside, depending on your needs, is the shower situation. The upstairs bathroom only has a tub. The shower is downstairs and tiny. But, it wasn't a deal breaker for us. When we left, we notified Russell that both tub and shower drains were running slowly. This is a nice place for a quiet, country get away, but still close enough to the main highway and roads.
