Great home for a perfect stay in the beautiful Provence - we hope to come back one day

This was a truly stand-out property — gorgeous views, beautiful and comfortable interiors, and conveniently located to the village but also private and away from the crowds. We had a terrific week seeing various parts of the Luberon, and we were always so pleased to return to the house and sit on the veranda looking out at the valley below us. The outdoor spaces are well thought through, with tables and shade in the all the right places. The pool is beautiful with shady and sunny areas, and there is boules and ping pong too. There is an indoor covered eating area right next to the veranda with windows on all sides that served us well when it was too chilly to eat outside. We loved everything about this place.

Amazing home, the photos don't do it justice. High ceilings, beautiful stonework and views that are impossible to beat. The house is perfect for a family or group, the pool is pristine and there are endless spots outside to enjoy the well maintained gardens. Highly recommend will certainly come back again.

Great base for our family exploring the many and beautiful nearby hilltop towns and countryside of the Luberon in July. Our hosts were super responsive and helpful. The house was very well outfitted, clean and well maintained. The pool and aircon in the bedrooms kept us perfectly cool even in the hottest weather.

Stepping from the searing heat outside into the cool, high-ceilinged hall of this wonderful house and through to a terrace shaded by a pleached plane tree, we knew we had found the perfect retreat. The views are extraordinary, across the valley to Lacoste and Bonnieux and the distant Luberon mountains . The pool is big enough to really swim, and far enough away from the terrace not to disturb the serious readers, talkers or snoozers (in the hammock). Boules by the pool is 'challenging' , as is the table tennis setting. With all this, it is only 10 minutes' walk from the boulangerie and the well-stocked little supermarket. Top tip 1): ask Alexia for the best places to eat - Le Terrail at Bonnieux leads the field, followed closely by L'Ocrier in the village. 2) Roussillon is very popular and crowded with tourists- shop early.
