Spacious living areas with a comfy sectional and Smart HDTV to enjoy some down time. Cowhide rugs, cow print dining room chairs, and two original paintings on pallet wood highlight the fresh farmhouse feel! New blinds have been installed throughout and are easily opened to let the sun shine in! Kitchen – Granite in the kitchen makes a nice work surface whether you’re preparing sandwiches for lunch or Thanksgiving dinner for your family. New stainless steel appliances have been installed in the kitchen, making cooking fun and enjoyable! Upon your arrival you’ll find that the hosts have left a bottle of Napa Valley Chardonnay for the enjoyment of guests 21 and over! You’ll want to put it on ice and chill it before popping the cork! Cheers! A hot cup of coffee is important first thing in the morning! Both a Keurig coffee maker (the latest model), and a drip coffee pot have been provided, for whichever you prefer. Your first morning cup of coffee is on the house but you’ll want to bring more for a longer stay! Don’t forget the creamer! A variety of tea is also provided. A large assortment of cooking implements has been provided! From spatulas, to whisks, to sharp knives! From aluminum clad cookware that works well on the new electric range, to Pyrex casserole dishes to place in the oven! You’ll find spices of every flavor and olive oil in the cabinet! There’s even Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning in there for those that like the gulf coast flavor! Dining – The dining room has a large table that includes four comfortable chairs and a bench that will seat two adults or three kids. The breakfast area adjacent to the kitchen features a high-top table with four chairs. On cool mornings, this is a great place to open the blinds and feel the warmth of the sun! During temperate weather, the back deck has a table and four chairs. Sit outside and listen to birds sing in the morning or watch lightning bugs in the evening with a cool glass of sweet tea! The kettle charcoal barbecue makes it easy to grill on summer evenings! Bathrooms – The bathrooms have all been updated with new spa type cabinets. New low-flow toilets have been installed to help save water. A large step-in shower, with a glass barn door enclosure has been installed in the Master Bathroom! Hair dryers and organic cotton bath towels are provided as standard! Bedrooms – All three bedrooms have brand new, comfortable mattresses with soft crisp new linens, comforter and pillows for a good nights’ rest! A king-size bed in the Master Bedroom, a queen-size in the second bedroom, and one double and one twin in the third! No need to be uncomfortable on the couch! Laundry Room – A new washer and dryer are available so that you don’t have to worry about luggage restrictions. Detergent and dryer sheet for your first load is provided for your convenience! Hall – An energy-saving Nest thermostat has been installed in the hallway to help preserve energy when it’s not needed. But, feel free to set the temperature to a setting that makes you feel most comfortable! The Nest may look intimidating at first but is simple to use! Entertainment – A brand new 50” TV has been installed in the Living Room! A Samsung Soundbar with a subwoofer has been added to enhance your viewing experience, as well as Bluetooth with your smartphone to play your favorite music! A new 43” TV has been mounted in the Master Bedroom for you to enjoy as you wind down the day. With both TVs, Roku is the platform for you to watch all your favorites on your streaming service. Simply login to your favorite! Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, Prime…you get the picture! Need to stretch first thing in the morning? A yoga mat has been provided and the open furniture arrangement leaves plenty of space to stretch! On pleasant days, the back deck might provide a place to stretch in the fresh air! Property – Rutherford Breeze is located out in the country, but in a subdivision of similar homes. What is unique is that there is plenty of space between the homes. Plenty of room between Rutherford Breeze and the neighbors! Sit in the Adirondack chairs and watch the deer scamper about in the open field behind the house. At dusk in springtime, the fireflies fill the air and are mesmerizing as they flit about. A fire pit has been provided for your comfort on a cool evening. You’ll need to provide the firewood. Beyond the open field at the tree line, is Fall Creek. After a rainstorm, listen as the water flows briskly toward the bridge at the entrance. Located on a cul-de-sac street, there is no through traffic. And, several peace officers live nearby offering a certain level of security. Shopping is located closest in the town of Smyrna. Enjoy the ride and the scenery as you travel the fifteen minutes into town. Whether you’re looking for Publix or Walmart or a great place to eat, you’ll find it in Smyrna. If you’re looking for a great place for a nice dinner, Hickory Falls is one of the Host’s favorites! Murfreesboro proper is a little farther, but offers a greater selection of stores including Sprouts and Aldi’s. Don’t forget to stop at Andy’s Frozen Custard on Memorial Boulevard! Church – The closest church to Rutherford Breeze is Powells Chapel Baptist Church! You will pass it on the way to the house! The services begin at 10:15 on Sunday mornings, and Pastor Todd Werner is friendly and enjoyable! Nashville – There is no direct route to Nashville, due to Percy Priest Lake; so, you’ll have to go Northeast to Lebanon, and then West on I-40 to Nashville; or, head Southwest on 840, then head North on I-24! If you have a few extra minutes, one of the Host’s favorite roads is Couchville Pike to Mt. Juliet! A quiet two-lane country road that passes older farmhouses and newer constructed homes. Watch out for wildlife near the road…especially in the early morning and at dusk! Enjoy your ride as you meander the country roads on your way to and from Rutherford Breeze! In summertime, you’ll pass through tall fields of field corn and soybeans, as you approach Fall Creek. Rutherford Breeze is located in the northernmost part of Murfreesboro! The home is just 35 minutes from the bands playing on Broadway in Nashville; 40 minutes from walking the streets in Franklin; and a little over an hour to see how Tennessee Whiskey is made at Jack Daniel’s in Lynchburg! The Geographic Center of Tennessee is literally in Murfreesboro! Nashville Superspeedway is about 4 miles (as the crow flies) from Rutherford Breeze! The Alvin C. York Campus of the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) is located conveniently close. For history buffs, Stones River National Battlefield and Cannonsburgh Village are just a few minutes’ drive away! Lebanon is just up the road and is home to the Wilson County Fairgrounds which is hosting the Tennessee State Fair again in 2024! Lebanon is the location of the very first Cracker Barrel (however, it is no longer there), and is home to the headquarters to Cracker Barrel Country Store! Looking for a ‘Sunday drive’? Historic Bell Buckle is 45 minutes away; Clarksville is an hour and a half drive away; Chattanooga is about two hours, and Knoxville is about two and a half hours drive from Rutherford Breeze.
