We thought at first that the location was somewhat remote, but once we became familiarized with the town and area, we appreciated the privacy of the site. The town of CDP was an unexpected bonus. There were great restaurants, good shopping and historical sites to be experienced. Visiting nearby towns and villages was easily possible from this location. The interior of the home was beautifully designed and executed, down to the quality of the bed linens. When issues arose; slow running shower drains, lack of hot water, Giovanna's husband, Giovanni, addressed them right away. The pool was well tended and a gift during the unexpected hot September days. Our only discomfort was the periodic disturbance of the family dog warning of wild boar in the woods during the night. And, try as we did, we were unable to operate the oven. All of the appliances were new, but there were no instructions available to operate it. We trust that future visitors will find this issue addressed.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful premise and attention to detail in the apartment. A great mix of modern and genuine. Kitchen is well-equipped, AC is very well functioning, bathrooms are spacious, fresh and with good storage, a comfortable seating area in the livingroom and very good size bedrooms with ample storage. The pool area is beautiful, with wonderful views, great sunbeads and umbrellas. Super convenient with a toilet in the poolhouse. Also, good covered car parking. The location is great, peaceful on the countryside, but short rides to many towns and areas to explore. Perfect exercise walk uphill to Città della Pieve in the morning to pick up fresh cornetti. Giovanna and Giovanni were great hosts!

This is such an amazing gem near Citta dela Pieve! It is an apartment in a home where the nicest Italian family lives. The apartment has everything you may need - from the stove and the pans - to the washing mashine. The hosts really made us feel at home. The nature outside is breathtaking. Ideal for a getaway to be close to nature, but also close to the restaurants and shops in Citta dela Pieve. Absolutely loved it. The only thing is the cellular and internet connection, that can be desruptive. So do not plan any important meetings for this vacation.

Siamo stati ospitati dalla Signora Giovanna in un bellissimo appartamento perfettamente ristrutturato ed arredato, dotato di ogni comodità, sito nel loro casale. In giardino, a pochi passi, vi è una bellissima piscina che gode di una splendida veduta panoramica. Il paese è poco distante ed è comodamente raggiungibile in auto e, volendo fare una passeggiata, anche a piedi. Città della Pieve offre la possibilità di ammirare sia delle magnifiche opere d'arte, sia di godere di diverse vedute panoramiche, grazie ai belvedere posti in diversi punti della città. Su suggerimento di Giovanna e del marito abbiamo avuto anche modo di ammirare la cittadina in festa per il Palio, con tutte le strade ed i vicoli addobbati con le bandiere dei diversi terzieri. Grazie anche per le indicazioni per andare nei migliori locali ad assaggiare i piatti tipici. Concludendo, è stata una vacanza veramente magnifica sotto tutti i punti di vista e consiglio vivamente di andare nella casa di Giovanna.
