Located directly under one of the best preserved medieval hilltop settlements in Istria, Motovun, Villa Toro presents the perfect getaway for a couple, small group of friends or a small family. Featuring a beautiful infinity pool which overlooks the city of Motovun, a beautiful spacious living room with an indoor fireplace and a balcony that shares the same view as the pool - the house promises a truly picturesque experience. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! A spacious 2 double bedroom house featuring picturesque views of the Motovun town. The house has 2 stories with the living room on the top floor and the 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor. The double bedrooms have direct access to the garden that features a sunbathing area, outdoor shower and a beautiful infinity pool. The house is completely private and the guests have full access to it. For those interesting in bringing their bikes we also have a utility room with outside access that can be locked and used to safekeep bikes or any other outside equipment.

This house is a true gem. With a great view on Motovun and the sound of hundreds of birds, you really are getting a break from it all. The house is beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated. Lots of things to do in the surroundings: day trips all over Istria, strolling through Motovun before the tourists arrive to tasting local delicacies. Loved, loved, loved it

Die Unterkunft entspricht den Fotos und hat eine sehr schöne Sicht auf Motovun. Sie sehr liebevoll, aufs Detail geachtet, eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber konnten wir leider nicht persönlich kennenlernen aber wir hatten einen super Austausch und eine schöne Zeit in der Villa Toro! Gerne wieder!

So ein hübsches Haus…ich wollte nicht mehr abreisen. Die Ausblicke auf das berühmte Bergdorf Motovun sind einzigartig. Das Haus liegt zudem direkt an der Parenzana, einem berühmten und idyllischen Rad- und Wanderweg. Olivenbäume und Weinreben sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben uns als fünfköpfige Familie mit Baby in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das WLAN war so schnell , dass Videokonferenzen möglich waren. Mark war in der Kommunikation reaktionsschnell und immer sehr höflich und zuvorkommend.

Komunikacija sa domaćinom je bila vise i nego korektna. Kućica je mali skriveni biser ,smješten podno Motovuna. Boravak je bio ugodan, svakako moja preporuka .

The very charming Motovun in the countryside of Istria is one of the prettiest hilltop towns in the region. Located about 25km inland from Porec, this small town is situated at a height of 277m above sea level.
The walled part of the city is one of the most interesting inland towns to visit in Istria. It is a great place to sample local cuisine and wine and is also famous for its annual film festival.
Motovun is one of the most visited places in Croatia. Many people come here to enjoy truffles, in the hills, away from « invaders ».

Best way to get around the old & small historic walled city on the hill is by foot or bike. But this is only for the walled part of the city on top of the hill. All the areas surrounding the little idyllic medieval city are well connected with roads and easily accessible by car.
The house itself is accessible by a wide road and you can park 2 cars in front of the house as well.
