Perfect place for a couple looking to enjoy the weekend on the beach!

At first we didn't even know Carol & Thomas were home because the connected apartment was so quiet, but then when we ran into them the next morning, they were so nice and very welcoming. They thought of everything in the air bnb, all the details were very nice touches. A very short to the nice quiet part of the beach (which they provided the perfect amenities for - towels/beach bag / a wagon / ice pack for a cooler / even sun screen!!) and also an easy longer walk to all the fun beach bars that are still thriving and busy (be careful of the fun & fruity rum drinks - they sneak up on ya). We hope to come back soon to see the island make even more progress after the hurricane and support as much as we can. So much appreciation to these hosts who very obviously put a lot of thought and pride into the guest experience at their home. We would love to stay again.

My husband and I wanted a mini vacation where we were able to walk to the beach and enjoy a peaceful weekend just the two of us. Tom and Carol were so sweet! Their space was perfect for us two. It was very clean, well kept, and everything you needed for the beach! They provided beach chairs (water and lounge), a wagon, an umbrella, two different kinds of beach towels, and two different size coolers. They went above and beyond for us. They answered very quickly and helped us when I wanted a fan late at night for noise (sleep with one at home). They have things labeled and described well for guests, inside and out in the garage! They had a cute little welcome snack box when we arrived. They also gave us a recommendation for a free show one evening that they have enjoyed! I hope to visit with them again as Fort Myers is one of our favorite places to visit! Highly recommend Tom and Carol!

It was a very beautiful well kept place given the hurricane situation that happened. There was a lot of building going on and renovations but otherwise peaceful and not too far from the beach. Mom’s kitchen for breakfast was great. Host is super and I would recommend this to anyone traveling as a couple .

Thomas & Carol’s place was everything we could have asked for. They are lovely, welcoming people who care about their space and the overall Fort Myers community. Lil’ Lavender is fantastic! Not only is it walking distance to the beach and restaurants, but they also gave us an assortment of recommendations of places to check out in the area (all of which were exceptional), as well as some local tips that we would not have otherwise known. What a fun area! In addition, what stood out were the little things - coffee machine for the mornings, kitchen supplies for cooking, a beach cart loaded with beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. Tom & Carol even provided a foot wash station for getting the sand off our feet after the beach, and let us use their aloe plant after a long day in the sun. Everything was considered in making our stay a great experience. Tom & Carol have set the bar with Lil’ Lavender. Would love to come back and visit again!
