This home allows up to 2 mature dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax which is collected through the airbnb resolution center after a booking is confirmed. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. Touch of Grey is our second river front mountain cabin. Enjoy beautiful river views in a quiet natural setting where you can enjoy activities in the slow-moving water of the South Fork New River, watch the wildlife from the rockers on the deck. About 5 minute drive to Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 minutes to downtown West Jefferson for shopping and dining. Great hiking trails abound. Looking for additional space? Consider also booking Knotty Pine, the home immediately next door! Single level living in this cozy, riverfront cabin. The living room offers leather furnishings, a wood stove, and mounted flat screen TV with YouTube TV and streaming abilities. The kitchen has granite counters, stainless appliances, and a Keurig for that first cup of the day. Two barstools are at the counter, with 2 additional chairs in the bedrooms if there is a full house. A full size washer and dryer set are tucked in the closet for easy access. Although the home offers single level living, there are 11 steps from parking area down to the home, and additional stairs to access the river. You should not plan on using this space if your mobility is limited. • Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am • Firewood for the wood stove may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night. This will be approved and paid through the AirBnb Resolution Center at least one week before arrival. • Guests may wish to bring along a bluetooth speaker for music. • The neighborhood road is gravel and is on a slope. You should have no trouble driving in standard car if you are familiar with gravel; otherwise, please bring 4WD or AWD. If there is snow or ice on the ground 4 wheel drive would be required. Motorcycles may not travel well on the loose gravel road. Please plan accordingly. • Touch of Grey is next door to Knotty Pine and they share river access through the new stone steps into the New River, located in front of Knotty Pine. • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable. • Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions. • Host is not responsible for items left in the home. • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions sent by Host (property manager) within 60 days of arrival.
