We were looking for a weekend in the countryside in unique accommodation. We wanted it to be restful with beautiful scenery. We also wanted to be able to explore the surroundings by foot and to be able to do some bird watching. Keisie-Tafelkop was everything that we were looking for and more. The 1908 cottage was roomy, cool with the high ceilings, spotlessly clean, with everything that we needed. The little "backyard" had folding chairs, an outside table with seats, gas burners on a table and a big braai with ample wood supplied. There was also a little splash pool that could be filled with water and heated with a wooden stove on request . Ockie and Paula were wonderful hosts, we were welcomed by them and everything were properly shown and explained, with a big surprise on the table, a basket with home-made eats! It was much appreciated! Not to mention the bottle of Muscat! We could approach them at any time with questions. We thank them for a lovely homely stay!

Ockie and Paula's place is an incredible find... a lovely cottage with all the creature comforts one could ask for in amongst the most beautiful mountains. And a massive hot tub to top it off! Ockie is very knowledgeable of the local trails available and gave us wonderful recommendations for mountain biking and hiking.

Ontzettend vriendelijke ontvangst door de hosts. Heel ontspannen en hartelijk. De woning was wat gedateerd, wat z’n charmes heeft en heel goed past bij de omstandigheden. Alles wat we wilden is aanwezig.

Truly a hidden gem!! Set between the Keisie Valley hills, a cozy farm cottage built in 1909. Well equipped, comfortable, clean and safe. Perfect place to get away from the city. Ockie and Paula are absolute sweethearts!! Made me feel right at home…🥰
